logo_lexusMy Take: I’ve had a tough time confirming some of the Lexus numbers so I will go out on a limb here and assume they are the same as last month. The first three listed here are confirmed  and it looks like LFS didn’t change the August numbers from July, so I think it’s safe to say that you can plug in July’s numbers and run with it. logo_lexusMy Take: Residuals took a dive this month compared to the last. The good news is that the MFs also dropped, maintaining the payments at around the same ballpark. Please note that the HS250h is currently not available for lease/purchase due to recalls. That could change in the near future, but as for now, stay away from that model. logo_lexusMy Take: Overall, I am unimpressed. Residuals may be above average, but MFs are too high for my liking. Not much in terms of rebates either (unless you are in the military). However, I believe decent amount of discounts can be had to make up for the lack of customer cash due to Toyota’s recent struggles.

2009/2010 Lexus RX, IS Lease Rates – November 2009

logo_lexusMy Take: A bit low on the IS numbers this month, but this should give you an idea of what Lexus’ “December to Remember” promo looks like. Not exactly memorable, but then again, they could be providing some rebates that I am not fully aware of. I say this because I’m not seeing anything official on Edmunds other than the 2.9% financing for 60 months. Expect lease rates to carry over through early January. This is probably going to be the case for most automakers.

logo_lexusMy Take: The money factor on the 2010 RX isn’t very attractive right now, but the residual value is. You will need to do your best to knock off a decent amount off the MSRP in order to compensate for the high money factor. 10% off MSRP is generally what I recommend shooting for in these economic times. More, if the dealer has a lot of marketing/dealer/customer cash available for you. As you know, marketing, dealer and customer rebates are all provided by the manufacturer, NOT the dealer; therefore you need to get the dealer to discount you PLUS whatever the rebates the manufacturer has for you.

logo_lexusMy Take: Here are the RX350’s lease rates for you Lexus RX lovers. I think the MF is a bit high, so you may want to wait a little bit to see if it drops down the road. Eventhough this is a 2010 model, you may be able to get some discounts off MSRP. Below invoice, however, is probably unlikely.

09 Lexus GS, RX Lease Rates – March 2009

logo_lexusMy Take: I would strongly caution lessees to stay away from the RX350 this month because the numbers don’t look very good. The GS looks ok, but the residual values are too low. It could be a good “lease to buy” candidate, but the money factor would have to be slightly lower. Without incentives, I would recommend most people simply pass on both the GS and RX this month.
