2013 lease rates are out for pretty much all VWs with the exception of the Routan. They look pretty good too! Love the numbers on the CC personally. Would love to get one if I didn’t need an SUV to haul crap. Unfortunately I do and the CC only has 4 seats. Bummer. Anyway expect the CC deal to remain crazy good for the remainder of the month. I wouldn’t be surprised if it looks good for the remainder of the year! Good discounts, good incentives ($2500 instead of $2000), good MF. That spells a good deal. Don’t forget about the 0% financing too! Nothing beats an interest-free loan. The 0.00001 MF comes close though.

Residuals and MFs drop a little bit this month. Not a bad thing. Pretty standard and predictable  if you ask me. Looking at the CC, it seems the deal just got sweeter with a $1000 increase of last month’s lease cash (a total of $2000).  So if you went invoice + lease cash, the deal looks like what I have calculated below. Numbers look improved this month compared to last month. 39-month leases are available for the Jettas and GLI. Overall, I like the reduction in MF for many of the models. I’m also seeing some lease cash being thrown in there to sweeten the deals. It’s looking good if you are looking to lease a VW this month!

Residuals and MFs have dropped on most models. The 2013 CC’s residual stayed the same and also received a 0.00005 reduction in the money factor. Lease cash also got bumped from $500 to $750 for this month.

The estimate below is based on invoice + lease cash. However, I get the feeling that you can probably do dealer cost + lease cash. The CC has historically been leased at below dealer cost because of the lease cash VW has consistently thrown at it.

2013 CC lease rates is out with $500 lease cash incentive. I personally recommend snagging a remaning 2012 because of the 0% financing for up to 72 months. The lease cash on the 2012 is much larger too ($1750) and the lease rate on it is still pretty good: 49% @ 0.00009 MF (Thanks for the info Mac).

Leasing is all about timing folks. You also have to do your homework and be flexible with what you want to drive. Leasing vs buying also plays a huge part in what makes sense. 0% financing for retail purchases is a no-brainer for most people, however, that also depends on the car you plan to get. If you plan to get married and start a family, buying a 2+2 coupe probably doesn’t make much sense, but leasing one does.

VW just bumped the lease cash for the CC by $250 bucks AND is providing 0% financing for up to 72 month!!!! There is a drop in residual value, so I think the extra cash was introduced to offset that (keeping the lease exactly the same as Feb). The MF is already very low (0.00009 vs 0.00012 in Feb) so there was only so much they could go before having to drop some more money at it.

Either way you go (lease of finance), I think you’ll find that a good deal can be had on the CC this month.
