2011 Nissan Lease Rates – December 2010

logo_nissanMy Take: Here are some base model Nissans to kick off the December lease rates. I anticipate the Sentra S being one cheap lease this month, with possibly the best payment-to-MSRP ratio of any car this month. The Juke is also out, but it looks like the MF is a bit high so probably not one of the best leases. Anyway, I’m digging the Murano’s numbers as well since the residual is high to make this a reasonable lease. Typo on the Murano, Residual is actually 10% lower that originally posted, so the Maxima, Altima and Sentra are probably your best bets this month. Keep in mind that these are entry-level models. If you plan to lease a better equipped model, your rates will vary. As always, if I get more numbers, they will get posted.

Number1Leasing, the broker that has been kind enough to provide me with these numbers, will provide an additional $100 off their sale price for folks who mention this website, so be sure to capitalize on that should you decide to use for your next lease. There is also a $79/month Sentra SR lease* (which doesn’t qualify for the $100 discount) this month. If interested, please email them at info(at)number1leasing.com.

*The Sentra lease more than likely requires cap reduction and up front fees.

2010-11 Nissan Lease Rates – November 2010

logo_nissanMy Take: Looks like the 2011 are still a bit high on the MF, but the 2010 look like pretty solid leases still if you can find one. Better yet, I would recommend buying since they have 0% APR loans for 2010s. There’s also cash on select models in case you decide to pay cash or finance through a different lender.

As you know, I’ve been working with a few brokers to get  lease rates for you (since dealers generally do not share this information willingly) in exchange for some advertising. Therefore, if you would like to use one, it would help keep the numbers coming on a monthly basis. As a special incentive, I’ve been informed that you can get an additional $100 off through Number1Leasing if you mention my website, RIDE with G. They deal nationwide, with about 30 locations across the country so finding you a car shouldn’t be too difficult. Anyway, if you are interested, contact Daniel Efraimov and tell him I sent you.

2010 Nissan Lease Rates – August 2010

logo_nissanMy Take: Wow, yet another lease rate that hasn’t changed in August! This is awesome. The Maxima was a great deal last month and it looks like it will continue being a good deal this month. Rebates should still be in full-effect, so take advantage of them!!

2010 Nissan Lease Rates – May 2010

logo_nissanUpdated: Added Altima and Murano numbers. Hopefully some of you can take advantage of it this weekend. The Altima numbers look very good. Murano, not so much. My Take: Just a little disclaimer here…I will be posting all things Nissan on this page. The title will change as I add more lease rates for other Nissan vehicles. Now lets move on to the Maxima!  There are some incentives available on the Maxima right now, making it a very attractive lease. Look for $2000 retail cash plus another $500 customer cash. You can’t use the $2000 on the special financing APR 0.0% – 1.9% that NMAC is offering, but it should qualify for the lease. The lease rates got inflated a bit, so your lease should look even better than March/April. Don’t bother looking for a S model at this point. Not only will you have a hard time finding one, but it’s also not worth the effort since the SV is already looking very attractive.

2009 Nissan Maxima, Murano Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_nissanUpdate: Added 24-month lease rates for the 2009 Maximas. My Take: For the sake of time, I’m going to start bundling the 2009 lease rates for each make, that way I don’t have to make a new post for each model. These aren’t very “popular” leases right now anyway, so it should be fine. I’d like to point out that the Maxima SV looks pretty right now. Just look at the money factor. The residual could be better, but I can’t complain. You can opt for a 12k mile lease and the residual should jump another 2%. Buying is also a great option since you can get 0% financing for up to 60 months on remaining 2009 Maximas. I also got the rates for the 2010 Maxima and I can say that it isn’t half bad. However, I would still inquire about the 2009 first to see if you can get a lower payment on those.

The Murano lease rates are a bit weak, so I don’t recommend it this month.

09 Nissan Maxima, Rogue, Murano Lease Rates – April 2009

logo_nissanMy Take: Ever wonder why Hondas, Nissans or Toyotas don’t offer very good 48-month leases? That’s because their warranties are only 36-months long, so make sure you don’t go beyond that. Anyway, sorry for the bundle post. I am just trying to get these numbers out there for you as quick as I can. The Maxima is probably the better lease of the three cars in this post. The money factor is high and the residual is pretty decent. Stay away from the Rogue. You may want to consider the Murano since it has about $2500 worth in customer rebates (click here to see if you qualify for any of them).

09 Nissan Murano Lease Rate for January 2009

My Take: The Murano looks like a potential lease this month since there’s some lease support available of it. The residual value looks somewhat inflated (a good thing) and the money factor, despite being reduced, is still hovering around the 3.7% APR range. Not bad, not great. The good news is that TMV suggest the Murano S AWD going for about $47 over invoice plus you get a nice $500 cash rebate to go with it. Personally, I think invoice plus the $500 cash rebate is VERY doable. The calculations below do not reflect the $500 rebate, so you can probably do better.

48 Month – Residual 41% of MSRP – .00270 Base Rate
60 Month – Residual 36% of MSRP – .00270 Base Rate

My Take: The Murano is arguably the best crossover on the market right now. (according to C&D) This speaks volumes about the improvements Nissan has gone through over the past decade. 10 years ago, I would have never even considered a Nissan, not I’m driving one. Sure, the are still some quality issues, but we know the folks in Japan are paying attention…unlike what GM and Ford have been doing for the past decade or two. I think Nissan knows this too, just look at the MF. The residuals aren’t too bad though.
