2010/11 Acura Lease Rates – September 2010

logo_acuraMy Take: Acura has regional lease rates, so your money factor may vary. I believe the TL has a slightly high MF compared to us in the West Cost (.00134). It is still not a bad deal, but it does make the payments slightly higher. The TSX looks like a good lease this month. Not only are the residual and money factor very good, Acura is also throwing some cash at them. My guess is that the TSX will be one of the top 10 leases in this months Round-Up again.

2010/11 Acura Lease Rates – August 2010

logo_acuraMy Take: As I was saying earlier on the Honda post, this month’s numbers should be the same as last months. As we near the end of the 2010 model year now, you will start having difficulty finding the car you want because production has already ended. You may be forced to take on a 2011 model, which will more than likely be more expensive to lease in it’s first few months of introduction. I recommend shopping a few months  before the end of your lease or finding a way to weather the “mark-up” months when new models first arrive in showrooms.

2010 Acura Lease Rates – July 2010

logo_acuraMy Take: Here’s a mix bag of Acura numbers for you. This is all I have at the moment, so you don’t need to ask for what’s missing. If I find it, it will get updated on this post. There are cash incentives being thrown around on pretty much all the 2010 Acuras. 2011 RDXs are out, so no cash discounts there.

I’ve added some 2010 RDX numbers (if you can find any remaining ones). They don’t look so bad, so I would recommend them as an alternative to the Q5s, X3s, GLKs of the world. Remember that the MF drops to 0.00076 should you go with the “zero drive-off” offer.

2010 Acura Lease Rates – May 2010

logo_acuraMy Take: Incentives are available on leases for the TL and TSX right now. AHFC generally doesn’t offer marketing cash on leases, but they have been seen late last year (probably to boost sales in this weak economy). This is good news for us because the cash discount is pretty big, enough to cover drive-off costs. Anyway, I really enjoyed my Acura lease, as you can see on my latest post about turning in my wife’s TSX, so I highly recommend an Acura lease if you like their cars.

2009 Acura MDX Lease Rates – November 2009

logo_acuraMy Take: There is $2,000 dealer cash available on remaining 2009 MDX. I’m not sure when the 2010s will be rolling in, but I’m guessing its not too far off. The ZDX should be arriving in the next month or so (this winter), so maybe they will bring the 2010 MDX around the same time. Residual value on this truck really blows, but the cash helps. Decent lease, not great.

2009 Acura TL, MDX Lease Rates – October 2009

logo_acuraMy Take: Alright peeps. This has been both a slow month and a busy month for me. Slow meaning that a lot of the lease rates were had to find. Busy because I’ve been out of town a lot and occupied with “life” issues and finding time for some “R&R”. Nevertheless, I spend these last couple days digging and digging all over the place to find some rates and I’ve found some! So get ready for a flood of lease rates in the next 24 hrs. For those who think I’m not checking the forum’s requests page, think again. I do and I will say this. Don’t bother asking for cars like the Land Rover because their lease rates are bad probably 11 months out of 12. We’re talking 8-9% interest rates here, so don’t bother. Ditto on most brands related to American manufacturers. I do on occasion keep and eye out for some American brands that may have good lease support, but those are going to be spotty. Anyway, this post is about my take on the TL so let me get to that. The numbers remain unchanged from September, which is pretty decent. I added the SH-AWD with Tech into the mix for those shopping for the AWD model. The numbers look decent plus there is $2500 in dealer cash that you can combine with the lease rates listed below. I’m telling you. This is NOT a bad month to snag a TL if you dig the looks. 2010s are out, so this is effectively a fire sale. Shoot for invoice plus the dealer cash for a $2500 under invoice sale price. To get the best bang for the buck, shoot for the Base TL (unless you really need the navi and all the Technological goodness).

For the MDX, there is $2000 dealer cash available, but I don’t think that cash can save this lease to be honest. The dealer would have to dip below invoice THEN add the dealer cash. Then maybe, just maybe, you can get a good lease out of this.

2009 Acura TL, MDX Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_acuraMy Take: I’m not really feeling the TL and MDX this month. The TL is virtually unchanged from last month, which is a bit disappointing. July was probably the best time to lease a TL because of the dealer cash that was available for leasing (which is very rare). There really isn’t much to say about the MDX either…with a residual this low, I’m not sure leasing is feasable. Unless you can get VERY aggressive pricing on the TL and MDX, I would probably take a pass and wait for the 2010s.
