2010 Audi Q5 Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_audiUpdate: I’ve updated the Q5 numbers and I have thrown in the Q7 numbers in here as well. Enjoy. My Take: After posting the info on the Caddy SRX, I realized the Q5 lease rates is that much better. So if you were looking at the SRX before, you might want to check out the Q5. The GLK is a no-no this month (again) and the X3 hasn’t been a good lease for much of this year. I’m sure Audi is trying to clearance the remaining 2009 inventory right now, be sure to look at those as well.

2010 Audi A4, S4 Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_audiUpdate: Here is the complete list of all lease rates for the A4/S4 line up. I will get to your questions tomorrow, thanks for your patience. My Take: Here’s what I have found so far on the A4s this month. If you compare them with last month, you will notice that they are much improved. Of course, there is always the challenge of trying to get your Audi dealer to heavily discount the 2010 models, so you shouldn’t overlook any remaining 2009 models. On a side note, I’m having a very difficult time finding a true deal that’s worth posting on THE LIST this month. I’m just not seeing anything worth recommending right now.

2009 Nissan Altima Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_nissanMy Take: Here’s the sweet spot for the Altima S Sedan this month (see below). Pretty sweet if you ask me. Worthy of The List. The are also a bunch of rebates for customers, so getting a “below invoice” price, shouldn’t be all that difficult. I’ve driven the 4cyl S sedan before (as a rental) and it’s actually quite impressive. The interior is well-appointed (very similar to Infiniti G37s) and the engine is actually has a kick to it. Pretty good commuter car if you ask me.

2010 Acura RDX Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_acuraUpdate: Added 2010 RDX FWD and FWD with Tech Lease Rates. My Take: Residual values from August remain steady for September, while the money factor has dropped. This is good news for those looking to lease the RDX because it’s cheaper than last month! When it comes to 2010 models with really bad lease rates, it is really worth your time to wait. You know eventually the numbers will drop. If they don’t, you probably shouldn’t be leasing it anyway.

2009 Nissan Maxima, Murano Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_nissanUpdate: Added 24-month lease rates for the 2009 Maximas. My Take: For the sake of time, I’m going to start bundling the 2009 lease rates for each make, that way I don’t have to make a new post for each model. These aren’t very “popular” leases right now anyway, so it should be fine. I’d like to point out that the Maxima SV looks pretty right now. Just look at the money factor. The residual could be better, but I can’t complain. You can opt for a 12k mile lease and the residual should jump another 2%. Buying is also a great option since you can get 0% financing for up to 60 months on remaining 2009 Maximas. I also got the rates for the 2010 Maxima and I can say that it isn’t half bad. However, I would still inquire about the 2009 first to see if you can get a lower payment on those.

The Murano lease rates are a bit weak, so I don’t recommend it this month.

2010 BMW 6-Series, 7-Series Lease Rates – September 2009

logo_bmwMy Take: Nothing too exciting to announce here. 2010 6-series is unchanged from last month. 2010 7-series is as aweful as usual. 2009 are looking a bit better still. Just remember not to wait too long; As we enter the 2010 model year, 2009 selection dwindles and leases become less attractive due to the lower residual value. Feel free to pass on both of these vehicles this month, but keep a watchful eye on the 2009.

2010 BMW Z4 Lease Rates – September

logo_bmwMy Take: BMWFS is still running the same lease offer from last month for the 2009 Z4s, so you may want to look into that before you consider the 2010 models. My guess is that the 2009 lease rates from August more or less reflect those for September (since the deals haven’t really changed). Stay away from the 2010 models for now, they aren’t terrible (due to the high residual), but the MF needs a some work.

Volvo’s Safe + Sound Program

Volvo is currently providing the Safe + Sound program from Sept 1st through Sept 30th on their 2010 vehicles. Here are some of the details involving the program…

The Safe + Sound Coverage Plan offers you exceptional value and financial security that goes beyond crumple zones and airbags – it’s the security that only Volvo offers.

It’s “Safe” because it’s from Volvo, and it’s “Sound” because you’ll be driving your Volvo virtually worry-free for five years. Here’s what you get with our new best-in-class coverage plan:

5 Years 60,000 Mile Warranty
5 Years Complimentary Factory Scheduled Maintenance
5 Years Wear and Tear Coverage
5 Years Volvo On Call Roadside Assistance

The Safe + Sound Coverage Plan from Volvo. Because you should feel as secure purchasing a new Volvo, as you do driving one.

The Volvo Safe + Sound Coverage Plan is a U.S.-specific program and is valid only when repairs are performed at an authorized U.S. Volvo Retailer subject to all applicable exclusions or limitations. It applies to eligible 2010 Model Year U.S. specification Volvo vehicles purchased in the U.S. between September 1st and September 30th, 2009 (excluding fleet vehicles.)

Eligible models include:

2010 C30, C70, S40, S80, V50, V70, XC60, XC70, XC90. In other words, their entire 2010 line up.

This program is actually quite comprehensive since the warranty extends an extra year and/or about 10,000 extra miles compared to other luxury brands. I sweeten the deal that much more, Volvo is also providing Wear and Tear coverage such as break pads, rotors and wipers (like BMW does). Pretty much what BMW does (and what Audi used to do), but for a longer term.
