logo_audi My Take: Money factors dropped from last month, but so did the residual values. That should pretty much keep you around the same ballpark as last month. What I’d really like to see right now is a TDI version of the A4. That’d be cool. It is still a fairly good month for an Audi, so don’t sleep on this.

logo_benz My Take: Not reall feeling the rest of the 2010 MB line up. Either the residuals are too high low or the the MF is too low high…or both. Sad to say, but feel free to skip these this month. You aren’t really missing much.

logo_benz My Take: YES! The GLK FINALLY GOT A DROP IN MF! Nothing too significant, but better than nothing. The MLs are also getting MF drops, making it a pretty sweet deal. Recently Brian got a pretty good deal on the ML that VJ had difficulty replicating. However, I got an email from VJ yesterday stating that there might be enough rebates and programs out there that could drop the price a whopping $10k (as Brian had indicated). Of course, without any one else being able to pull this off yet, I would approach this deal with some caution. Certainly there are some deals to be had on the ML, just not 100% sure if all of you can tap into that. Just know that the possibility is there and going to the dealer and requesting $10k off MSRP might get you somewhere.

One a different note, I’d like to remind all newcomers that the Lease Rates get posted as I find them. There really isn’t a “request” system here. I find, I post. The requests forum is mostly for me to keep an eye out on some particular vehicles, but I make no guarantees. I tell you this so that you don’t get too disappointed when I tell you that “I don’t have them”. This is how it is with lease rates, they are just hard to come by.

logo_benz My Take: Bummer huh? Not exactly what you were hoping for I bet. Well, the E-Class gets no love this month, and I suspect that MBFS is going to keep it like this through early January. Hang in there, sooner or later, they will have to drop it since this car can’t stay “new” forever.

logo_benz My Take: Wow, damn MBFS for making do this on a Friday night! Regardless, I couldn’t skip town without posting the latest (and greatest) stuff that MB has come out with this month. The C-Class got a big drop (for the most part) in the Money Factor department this month with the residual values staying intacted. I don’t have to explain to you why this is a good thing. If you have to ask me why, I would recommend you to take a visit to the Leasing 101 section of this website.

I’m really digging the C-Class this month. Specially the C300s, not so much the C350 and C63. They are highly recommended since you are going from a 4.2% interest rate down to a 2.2% interest without a drop in residual value. That pretty much spells savings right there. I will probably put the C300 on The List when I return, so feel free to begin your dealer inquires on the C this month.

2010 BMW 1-Series Lease Rates – November 2009

logo_bmw My Take: Just like the 3-series, the 1-series is also getting a little bit of love from BMWFS. However, there isn’t a $2500 rebate on the 135i, only $1500 for bother the 128 and the 135. Better than nothing I guess. The good news is that you get the cash, same residual as last month and a lower money factor. This means that this month, the 1-series is cheaper to lease than last. Good news for those shopping for a 1-series. The rebates will be around until early January, so be sure to take advantage of them. I also suspect that the current lease rates from BMWFS will be around until January 4th, 2010.

2010 BMW 3-Series Lease Rates – November 2009

logo_bmw My Take: Happy Friday everyone! I’ll be out of town this weekend (again) so I’ll leave you with the latest BMW lease rates I found. BMWFS made some minor residual increases for some trims, but models got hit with a higher MF this month. Good news is that there is some holiday cash available for lessees. The 328i trims get $1500 and the 335i trims get $2500. Even the M3 gets a little love with $1500. You only get this cash if you lease or finance through BMWFS, so if you plan to pay cash or finance through your own bank, you won’t qualify. This is a mfg to consumer rebate, so make sure you get some discounts from your dealer as well.

On a side note, there have been a rash of fuel injector problems on the 335i engine according to a few friends of mine who drive them. When you lease, that’s not a huge deal, but the hassle of having to take the car in for service is a factor (at least for me) in the overall ownership/leasing experience of a car. Just a little FYI in case you were shopping for a 335i.

2010 Honda Odyssey Lease Rates – November 2009

logo_honda My Take: Wow, the Odyssey has better lease rates than an Acura MDX. Not the same ride, obviously, but they are both technically family haulers. Looks pretty good, even with the RES. Expect residuals to keep dropping as we get into the next year, so now is not a bad time to get an Odyssey. The MF is fairly low so its definitely worth looking into if you don’t mind driving a minivan. I say that because some people, such as myself, wouldn’t drive minivans no matter how practical they are.
