2010 Acura TL, TSX Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_acuraUpdate 2: I just go an email from Jerry Ede, my local Acura dealer of choice here in Southern California. The offer is for a 2010 Acura TSX, 36-months / 12k miles per year…MSRP $30,120, sale price $26,911.

$0 drive-off….$389 per month (includes 9.75% LA County sales tax)
$900 drive-off…$359 per month (includes 9.75% LA County sales tax)
$1500 drive-off…$340 per month (includes 9.75% LA County sales tax)

The $1500 drive-off is basically all the inception fees, which makes it around $310 before tax per month. That’s pretty good if you ask me. If you are in the So Cal area and within decent driving distance of Torrance, give him a call. He’s a straight-shooter, so you won’t have to negotiate to get a very low price. For those of you in the NY area and are within driving distance of HondaHarry, you probably want to give him a call. Harry’s been awesome at providing lease rates for everyone, so if you are serious about getting into a Honda or Acura, he’s your guy. I kind of wish he was here in So Cal since I’ve had some crappy luck with Honda dealer around my area.

Update 1: I am adding the TSX numbers onto the same post since I’m too lazy to make a new post about just one car. LOL. Maybe HondaHarry can chime in with some extra updates on the TSX lease rates. 😀 Oh there’s $1000 dealer cash on this ride, so be sure to take that into consideration. The numbers look improved from last month, so for those who waited…good job!

My Take: Thanks to HondaHarry for the Acura TL numbers this month. East Coasters, please show him some love if you are in the market for a new Honda or Acura. For those looking for a Tech, there is $2250 marketing cash available (at least here in CA) which CAN be used on leases. Just be sure to check with your local dealer. I know money factors do in fact vary in certain regions, if you are unfortunately enough to be in one of those locations, your MF will more than likely be higher.

Update: 0.00167 is for a $0 down program.

2011 Hyundai Sonata Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_hyundaiMy Take: A bit early for a manufacturers to be rolling out the 2011s, but its alright since the new Sonata is a very good looking ride. The residual values are strong and the money factors are very attractive. Factor in a relatively reasonable sale price and you got yourself a pretty sweet deal. Saw this car at the LA Auto Show last December and I think this will be an excellent alternative to those looking at the Accords, Camrys and Altimas.

2010 Infiniti G37 Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_infinitiMy Take: Lease rates on the G37 are pretty much unchanged from February. If you are an existing IFS customer, you will still qualify for the $1000 loyalty cash which is set to expire at the end of the month. I add the 2009 Convertible numbers in there as well, which actually look pretty solid. You may want to drop a few MSDs on it to drop the MF a bit. Last month, I got an offer on the base G37 sedan for $30,388, which was a great price. Of course you won’t come close to that number without the loyalty cash.

2010 Cadillac CTS, SRX Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_caddyMy Take: GMAC is back into the leasing business and they are trying to make things interesting by providing some lease support on the more popular SRX and CTS models. I still think the residuals are bit low, but not that seems to be the case with a lot of manufacturers these days. The CTS does have a very low money factor, so it’s worth a look. The SRX isn’t all that bad either, but I would prefer it to be in the low .00100s or lower. Either way, its worth checking out if you are in the market for something like the X3 or the Q5. This could be a decent alternative.

2010 Honda Accord, Crosstour, Insight, Odyssey Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_hondaMy Take: Honda is currently providing 0.00127 money factor for those of you who opt for a  “Sign and Drive” (Acura is doing the same).  That’s good since it saves you some money and requires nothing out of pocket. When it comes to leasing, it is preferred to avoid putting money down because in the event of a “total-loss” accident or theft, you may not get back the money you’ve put down. There was very good discussion last month in the forums regarding this topic, be sure to read about it. In any case, the numbers look solid so don’t miss out.

On a side note, I did check out the Crosstour last month and came away with mixed feelings. It is a pretty big car, it looks better from the front than from the back. I didn’t get to drive it, but my guess is that it won’t drive too different from an Accord V6. Here’s a payment scenerio in case you were curious as to how much it would cost to lease one of these…

MSRP $34,730
Invoice $31,527
Payments $377 + tax with inception fees due at signing (estimated at around $1500).
Sign & Drive $416 + tax

This is assuming 36mo/36k miles and the car being sold at invoice.

FYI – Just a reminder that if you opt for the “Sign & Drive”, your MF drops 0.00010. This seems to be the case across the board, with almost all models. I’m sure HondaHarry can confirm this. There are also rebates to be had so make sure to check Edmunds or ask your local dealer for more information.

2010 Mercedes Benz S, SLK Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_benzMy Take: SLK300 looks might good right now, just in time for the spring and summer season! Residual is BETTER than the TT and there is practically only about a buck worth of interest per payment. Can’t beat that! If you are considering the TT or any other luxury roaster, you should seriously consider the SLK.
