2013 lease rates are out for pretty much all VWs with the exception of the Routan. They look pretty good too! Love the numbers on the CC personally. Would love to get one if I didn’t need an SUV to haul crap. Unfortunately I do and the CC only has 4 seats. Bummer. Anyway expect the CC deal to remain crazy good for the remainder of the month. I wouldn’t be surprised if it looks good for the remainder of the year! Good discounts, good incentives ($2500 instead of $2000), good MF. That spells a good deal. Don’t forget about the 0% financing too! Nothing beats an interest-free loan. The 0.00001 MF comes close though.

There has been a reduction in MF on the IXL this month. I am willing to bet this has something to do with the fact that the IXL is probably not selling all that well. I haven’t seen the actual sales numbers, but my gut feeling is that most people have figured out that the IXL is pretty gutless for a car that is retailing for nearly 30k. Looking over at TrueCar sales data in my area, it looks like of those that decided to get one, a good number of them at getting then at dealer cost. Are you surprised? I’m not.

AFS made an interesting adjustment on the 2012 Q5 this month. They kept the MF the same and bumped the residual 2% higher! That means cheaper payments in my book. Funny stuff. Other than that, it seems the 2013s remained the same. Expect numbers to be about the same as last month. Incentives are the same and the special 2% financing for up to 60 months on the A4 is still the same.

Since IFS changed lease rates last month (one month ahead of the norm), this month’s numbers carry over from July. It also looks like there have been some price adjustments. The G37 Journey Sedan, for example, received a $500 price increase. It does change the payments a little bit compared to last month, but I personally feel that with some aggressive negotiating, you can overcome that price difference.

Numbers remain the same. My projection of the 328i selling for about $500 remains the same as well. In other words, whatever you were getting in July should remain the same in August. I looked at TrueCar data for NY area and it looks like the 328i is coming in at a bout $400 less, so those of you in the NE, try going for invoice. Truth be told, I’d recommend going for invoice no matter where you live.
