Here are January 2013 numbers. Most 2012 numbers are not available to me anymore. 2013 numbers look a bit worse than December due to some drops in residual and MF hikes. It is typically not a great time to lease during January/February for most makes and models.

It’s strange, BMW is advertising on their website that a 535i xdrive w/$3,000 cap reduction on MSRP of $58,095, $750 loyalty credit and a 63% residual for a 36 month 10K/yr lease at $559 a month excluding taxes etc. When I talk to my dealer, they quote the same lease numbers as you, though it seams BMW financial is using a lower MF in their advertised pricing. Using your stats (and dealers) the lease would cast around $617/mo. Any thoughts/guidance on the discrepancy?

    • Bill, it’s 3% for 10k, 2% for 12k. This applies to most manufacturers. There are some exceptions though.
