Residuals have dropped and some models also received reductions in MF. Thats good because there’s some cash out there to go along with that. Folks have been getting ridiculous deals on the Passat right now, so that’s definitely the ride to look out for. The Jetta, CC also look like good leases this month. I personally really like the CC. Really elegant and classy looking ride.

Hi,
Are there any lease specials for the Golf R?
Tuan
Tuan, highly unlikely. Limited production vehicle will not only get very little in terms of discounts, but they also won’t get much lease support.
As a vw owner, it pains me to say this: it doesnt make financial sense to get a golf r when the lease and selling price for gti is much cheaper like this.
G, i think the gli is a better lease than the cc if you don’t have to have that sleeker look. It is the same engine and tranny in a better chassis. A more useful interior space too.
I do agree with the GLI being a better value…but the CC is such a pretty car!. I’m in the visual arts so form typically trumps function. LOL
I agree. CC also looks 2x more $. It is on my list now as it is a 4 1/2 seater now.
Vw has $2750 3000 3500 rebates depending on the trim of cc.
G,
Assuming the MF are correct, then CC is going for 0.024% & Passat is 0.216% . That’s insane!

It is insane. Buying it and paying a full straight out doesnt make sense. I grabbed a touareg at this rate.
That true, I didn’t see the MF for t-rex until now.
LT, if what you have posted “Vw has $2750 3000 3500 rebates depending on the trim of cc.” is valid, then it might makes better sense to grab CC over Passat because the buyer will get better trims , equipment and style. Of course, some will prefers Passat because of 3 kids.
G, is it deal of the year?
My local dealers are constantly advertising 42 month leases on the most popular Volkswagen models. I really have no desire to lease a car that long. Should I just go in and tell them I want the 36 month lease? Upstate New York.
SW,
It is true. If you calculate the advertised December lease rate for CC based on all info that you have here, you’ll find out that the only way they can do that rate if the dealer gets a rebate from VW to sell it below invoice. The best value is the Sport Plus trim. Plus, if you are “cheap” like me, you’ll also chase the extra $500 coupon VW gives away at any autoshows. Passat will be cheaper but CC’s interior and exterior are millions year ahead. Depending on where you live, Passat will be mid to high 200, CC will be mid-high 300. But if you use argument, what stops you from getting a high 500-low 600 Lexus GS 350, which is also millions year ahead of CC. In addition, for around the same price with the CC you could also get a Volvo S60 T5 or a lightly equipped MB C-class. But these 2 cars never speak to me.
BTW,
Depending on the model, October could be a better month to lease a VW than Nov or Dec. For slow selling models, they could have more rebates. If the MF is ridiculously low, just roll the payment to be a zero drive off. There you will have your 36 mo zero drive off like I do.
LT,
+1 on Sport Plus. VW is throwing in $3k bonus for lease completed by January 2nd, 2013.
There you go. Good luck with the negotiation. If you dont have pets or young kids, the 2-tone interior is pretty.
Any info on the Beetle 2.0? I’ve noticed even in the past the residual and MF info for the Beetle was never posted, any reason for that? Thanks in advance!
