Looks like Nissan re-evaluated their lease rates because some models got a bump in residual and mf this month. Not complaining, but I personally rather see a lower residual and money factor than a higher one because it makes positive equity on trade-ins more of a possibility. Assuming you qualify for the graduate cash and can negotiate an invoice price (I don’t see why not, but it could prove challenge in cities with little dealer competition), you can get into the new 2013 Altima for around $300 a month after tax and with inception fees at signing. Still not a “great deal”, but I am willing to be things get better during the holidays.
Here is a sample calculation based on TrueCar’s Southern California sale price and do not include local taxes. Please note that your dealer calculations may vary due to local fees/taxes.

The Maxima lease rates…so that is only the “S” and not “SV”…do they not have published rates for the “SV”?
there isn’t such thing as “published” rates. Keep in mind that all lease rates you see here is considered “insider” information you normally do not get unless you plan to buy a car and the dealer chooses to disclose it to you. You will not find this type of information listed anywhere unless you know someone who has access to it (dealer, broker, etc…) I have inquired about the SV numbers, unfortunately I am still not getting them.
