2012-13 Audi Lease Rates – July 2012

Summer of Audi is looking better with some drops in money factor. Residual changed on some models, but for more mainstream ones like the A4, the residual remains the same. Looking over TrueCar sales data from last month, it looks like invoice + incentives ($1000 loyalty) is attainable. If you aren’t an existing Audi customer, hovering around invoice or slightly below that should be your max sale price.

Here is a sample calculation based on TrueCar’s Southern California sale price and do not include local taxes. Please note that your dealer calculations may vary due to local fees/taxes.

  1. Thanks so much for this site and the information you have provided. I’m looking to lease an ’13 Audi A7 Prestige fully loaded within the next 2 weeks and wonder how the numbers look on that compared to the “premium” numbers you have listed above. The Base Rate looks a bit high to me (4.056%) or am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks, again!

    • What I have posted is what I have. The Prestige model usually comes at a lower residual, so its a bit more expensive to lease.

  2. I just got off the phone with a dealership. They told me the residual was 43% and and the MF was 0.00236 on an Audi A6 3.0T Prestige (36 mo, 15k mi). WTF?

  3. @Matt..that cannot be right. I went into the dealership on Tues to order the A7 Prestige (MSRP $82,320) from Germany and the dealer gave me the option to lock in a rate now or wait (*nudge*) for rates to drop. For 12k, 36mo, MF=0.00169 (4.06%), residual=56%. I admit I’m a newbie, but I chose to wait…my point is that the numbers you cited for an A6 don’t seem real.

    • thanks for the help. i’ve been at this leasing game for quite some time now, and I’m always amazed at how many of the folks at the dealership do not have a clue how it really works. i think the dealership was just trying to blow me off.
any help you can offer on the remainder of your deal would be helpful. trying to figure out how far I can push another dealership on a discount off of MSRP and other incentives?

  4. I’m sorry, I left out the part where they came $3k off the MSRP (3.6% off) Wasn’t exactly thrilled with this, but I am told there are some more discounts coming on the A7 Prestige in the next month or so. My salesperson (who I’ve known for a while) told me that I should be able to get another $2.5-$3k off MSRP by the time the car gets to the shore. I know I’m taking a small leap of faith….this is why I’m trying to get a lease education. Can’t tell you how much this site has helped me.
