Infiniti leases are becoming more and more expensive. Like any Japanese automaker, their production is being affected by the tsunami, so sale prices and money factors have gone up. Then, you factor in lower residual values and you get higher monthly payments. But I wouldn’t let this discourage you because Infinitis still leases better than most cars.
Here is a sample calculation based on TrueCar’s Southern California sale price and do not include local taxes. Please note that your dealer calculations may vary due to local fees/taxes.
2011 Infiniti G37 Sedan Journey
MSRP – $36,695
Sale Price – $32,070
Monthly – $350+ tax
RWG Rating – 100.1

Wud up G!
I’m serious on leasing a G37 in June.
Can you get the residual / MF for the following…
2011 G37 COUPE JOURNEY
12,000 mi. 24 mo.
2011 G37 COUPE JOURNEY
12,000 mi. 36 mo.
Do you think lease rates will return to where they were in Jan/Feb ?
I know the numbers aren’t out yet, but I wanted to give you notice.\
Do you think NorCal/SoCal can go below truecar sale pricing now ?
Thanks for the great site.
Hey BC! My contact doesn’t provide me with 24-month leases, so that might be tough to get next month. Since I don’t expect June numbers to differ from May, you can probably start crunch estimates right now. If production doesn’t pick up. I don’t expect sale prices to drop either. I think its possible to go below TrueCar, but probably nothing too significant. Overall, I don’t anticipate lease payments to go back to Jan/Feb anytime soon since many dealers are not expecting much in terms of shipments for the next 4-6 months.
Hey G
Any word out there on MF / residuals for the G25 (i’m thinking of leasing a G25x).
Cool site – just came across it.

Hey Sam. Welcome! The G25 numbers are posted, right after the G37 IPL. Cheers!
Duh! My Bad.
Hey G,
So I’m getting ready to roll up the sleeves and start negotiations on a new G. I’ve crunched my numbers, but I have a question about finding the desired car.
I’m looking for:
2011 Infiniti G37 Journey Coupe + Premium Package (Graphite/Graphite)
…and preferably no other options if possible (to keep price down).
I can have my local dealer find one, but I feel I would be better positioned to negotiate if I’m dealing with the dealership that has the actual car on their lot.
My question is…Is there any easier way you know of to find that car in stock in California? I’m in Nor Cal, but willing to pick up the car in So Cal.
As of now I’m checking all online inventories of CA dealerships…very time consuming compared to the search tool the dealers have. It would be nice to know who actually has stock or something coming in soon.
Should I just go with the local local dealerships and let them find it?
BC, I recommend calling as many as you can find to see if they can get what you are looking for. Infiniti production is still low, so you will need to do some price shopping to see who can cut you the best deal on the car you want. Another alternative would be to use a broker to see if they can find the exact car you want. That’s how I would approach it. The lease rates are identical to May, so you didn’t miss out on that. However, prices are creeping up due to tighter inventory. By the way, the online tool isn’t very accurate in my experience. The one and only time I got what I saw online was when I got my Sonata this past April.
