My Take: Wow, the Odyssey has better lease rates than an Acura MDX. Not the same ride, obviously, but they are both technically family haulers. Looks pretty good, even with the RES. Expect residuals to keep dropping as we get into the next year, so now is not a bad time to get an Odyssey. The MF is fairly low so its definitely worth looking into if you don’t mind driving a minivan. I say that because some people, such as myself, wouldn’t drive minivans no matter how practical they are.

2010 Honda Odyssey
2010 Honda Odyssey EX
36-month | 15k miles | residual 54% | .00139 base money factor
2010 Honda Odyssey EX w/ RES
36-month | 15k miles | residual 53% | .00139 base money factor
Is the residual the same for RES and NAV?
What is the residual for 12k per year?
any news on the odessy exl rebates cash to dealers etc… I am paying just under $400/month now the dealer told me that the new price is $ 485.00/month for the same model ex-l. what gives the econopmy stinks prices should come down not up ? any thoughts.
@allanp. sorry allan, I don’t have anything on the odyssey’s right now. To be honest, I haven’t really had the chance to research things this past week. Holidays are a killer plus i’m gearing up for some R&R so things are hectic. Regardless, I know the economy stinks right now, but the main reason why the payments are up now is because of inflation and lower residual values. Truth is that a lot of the banks have readjusted residual values so that they don’t get hammered 3 years from now with a car that is worth thousands less than they anticipated. Predicting resale values is a tough business in this type of economy.
Thanks for your help, have a happy holiday to you and yours.
