My Take: 2010 C-Class remains unchanged since September. I do like the lease rates on these rides, but it all depends on the type of discount you are able to get. I would personally shoot for a nice 10% off the MSRP and see which dealer is willing to swing that. Is it likely? Probably not (invoice might be more likely), but it never hurts to try.
THe CL-Class looks as unappealing as usual, so feel free to give it a pass for the month. Ditto on the CLS.

A couple of thoughts. Your lease information is based upon standard lease lengths but it seems like MBUSA wants to push the 3 extra month terms i.e. 39 months not 36. I have heard from dealers that you gut stung if you want to stick with 36. Also, does your warning off the CLS take into account the marketing cash available to dealers this month (e.g. $10,000 for a CLS). I have also been quoted a MF on a 39 mo lease of .00285.
@steve. you are correct. the better lease for MBs is the 39month (in terms of payments). They usually keep the residual and money factor the same but you get to split the loan in 39 months instead of 36. The part I don’t like about 39 month leases is that it runs 3 months too long, so when registration time comes, I gotta pay a full years registration just for 3 months. Not really worth it if you ask me, specially on high priced vehicles.
Regarding the CLS, I’m not recommending the 2010 CLS, not the 2009. The 2009 is the one getting the 10k marketing cash because it’s being clearanced. I’m not 100% sure you will be able to use that on a lease though. MBUSA didn’t allow it on the CLKs this summer when they were having the 10k rebate on those.
I just leased C300 sport 4matic, heated seats, burl wood. MSRP 39,035, sale price 35,435 (received $750 Fleet discount, my employee is in the list). The monthly payment is $440, includes 7% NJ taxes. Upfront is $1641 (795 bank acq fee, 440 first month, remaining for doc fee, registration etc). The MF is .00095 and residual is 58% for 10k miles per year for 36month lease..
@AK. congratulations AK! that’s a freaking awesome deal. The MF is specially good, better than the numbers I’ve seen for this month. It seems that the ML numbers are actually lower than what I’ve posted, so everyone, please double check with your dealer. I will try to amend the posts if I find more info on MB lease rates.
Thanks. I was looking for a 2009 in late aug and I could not get one in black/black and was watching for 2010 and when MB advertised C300 Sport 4matic for $369 with $3750 down it was time to get back in and negotiate. Based on the terms on the website I also get around MF .0095.
@ak. I think that’s a really good deal, so I’m glad you pulled the trigger on it. I didn’t expect the MF to drop to 0.00095 so soon too, I guess sales have been rather slow as of late. Note to all, if you see a commercial that shows a low payment, even with a fairly high amount due at signing, check in with your dealer and ask for the lease rates, msrp and sale price. Chances are, there’s something going on that’s making the price drop so much. Think of the “promo” as a negotiating starting point and work your way down from there. If you are able to shave like $1750 off the down and still keep the $369 monthly payment, I think you’d be in good shape.
