UPDATE: Added the Journey Coupe. My Take: Lease rates on the G37 are practically unchanged from September. I’ve added the G37X coupe to the mix. I will update this post as I find more information for the remaining rates on the G37 coupes. The numbers on the sedan are pretty solid. The coupe looks alright as well, the MF is a tad high, but the residual offsets the MF fairly well.

Well, I am happy to say I found someone who wants to get out of their lease. They have 2 years left and the payment is $150 less than what a new lease goes for.
IFS is offering dealer cash toward leases: $2000

@ashe. thanks for the link ashe! I think $2000 lease cash should help lessee’s get below invoice for most markets.
I am looking at a G37J Coupe with Nav and Premium packages. List is about $43k. Dealer quoted me $35k, and a 36 month lease, 12k miles/year and with no cap cost reduction for $466/month + tax. When I asked for the numbers, he said the money factor is .00176 and residual is 60%.
If I take those numbers to the lease calculator, I get $378/month +tax. I think he must be taking the residual of the negotiated price, rather than the MSRP. Is that proper?
Actually, I just reran and I got a monthly payment of $363.74.
I am talking to myself but, I got it straightened out (I think). The $35k number was with the $3k incentive for buyers (leasees not eligible).
Price now is $37,399 with the incentives that expire on 11/2.
@jeff. I’m seeing $433/mo + tax. with inception fees due at signing (1st month, bank, dealer fees and dmv reg), which usually amounts to about $1500 or so.
@G
Thanks. Right now I have two dealers going back and forth. Current offer is $434/mo + tax, with inception fees at $1700.
@jeff. no problem. the current offer you are getting is in line with the calculations I made earlier. The inception fees vary a little bit depending on which state you live in. The extra $200 you are paying is probably due to a higher dealer doc fee than what I pay in California. Overall, I think its a pretty good deal.
@G I am also in California, so you inspired me to go back to the dealer and get $1500 out of pocket, $434/month. It might be possible to squeeze a little more, but I think I am close to the bottom.
I will probably go to the dealer tonight. Thanks again for all of your help.
@jeff. any word on your deal? did you get the car?
Anyone have November residuals and money factor. Appreciate it.
Looking for Coupe numbers thanks.
