My Take: The the ML350 and the ML320 are probably the better leases this month. The ML350 has a fairly low residual value, but the money factor is good (not great though). Then you have ML320 which has a much higher residual value and the money factor is still within an acceptable range. The bad news is that this month’s rates are much worse than March 2009’s numbers. The good news is that MB has been fairly competitive in pricing lately, so you should definitely check with a few dealers to see who’s willing to give you the best deal.

When I saw the book with the April numbers at the MB dealer (while I was leasing my CLK) I noticed that there MB financial was giving $2000 support for the ML 350 (I was pretty sure it was this model because it corresponded to the .00080 MF. I noticed this because my friend told me he was interested in an ML so I happened to glance down while I was looking at the CLK numbers.
I would almost prefer the ML320 at this point, the residual is so much higher. Only problem is that most dealers don’t carry many of those in stock. Good info though. Thanks Dr J.
