My Take: The long-awaited Hyundai Genesis Coupe is here and doesn’t seem to disappoint. The sweet-spot on this lease is the 36-month term. The car has been getting fairly good reviews and dealers seem to be able to sell them, even in this economy. Now, those of you who read about my post on the “LA Auto Show” know I’m not thrilled about the fact that Hyundai pretty much got the Genesis styling by cloning the G37. However, I can’t deny the that the car looks promising performance-wise and it also goes easy on the pocketbook. Not a bad time to jump into the coupe if that’s what you are looking for. The question is, can you get over the “Hyundai” logo on your steering wheel? I think a few laps around the block during your test drive should answer that question.

hey can you please post the rates for april thx
i would if i had them 😛
Hello,
Would you mind posting the rates for August – if you have them?
@kyle. i will see what i can find. i haven’t seen genesis rates in quite a while.
Okay, thank you. I’m assuming that they haven’t changed too much because the lease deal posted on Hyundai’s website has remained the same for the past few months. I appreciate your help! 🙂
Also, I’ve been assuming that on a 12,000 mile/year lease that I add 2% to the residual – is that correct?
@kyle. typically when you go from 15k to 12k, the residual goes up by 2%. The only exception I have seen is from Infiniti, were the residual only goes up 1%. I’ll post the numbers if I find them.
I found July’s numbers – .00134 and 55% for the 2.0 and .00134 and 53% for the 3.8. Both 36mo / 15k miles per year. I’ll keep digging…
Hello again. I was wondering if you have seen the rates for October yet. I’m looking to buy a 3.8 track or GT this month.
Thank you,
Kyle
@kyle. i’ll post them when i find them.
