My Take: Not much as changed on the A4 lease rates. MF drops, Residual drops, so it basically stayed the same as last month. Now on the A5, you will see the money factor is improved dramatically, while the residual only suffered a slight 1% drop. This combination shaves off around $20-$30 bucks off your monthly payments. Not too shabby. Is it really worth it? Maybe. Are there other cheaper alternatives? Oh yeah. But nothing as sexy as the A5/S5. Obviously, you want to avoid the 48-month lease here because of the ultra-high money factors.

Hello, how close to the actual buy rate are these money factor/interest rates on an automatic S5.
i called many dealers and basically they refuse to give me the buy rate unless i come in and actually want to buy a car and go through the purchase process etc.
Not only that, i have no idea of knowing if they tell me the truth or not.
so can you please let me know.
thanks!
They are supposed to be the ones from Audi Financial, so they should be fairly accurate. I don’t usually bother going into a dealership without knowing the lease rates in advance, but if you are having difficulty getting them to disclose that info over the phone/email, then you may have to pay them a visit. Just watch out for the high pressure sales tactics.
7.92 is pretty high interest rate for a 36month lease. But then again this car has no incentivised rates.
Im hoping this buy rate is almost dead accurate so I can try and get 8.5-9.0 maximum, as I know all dealerships try ot make at least 1point on the buy rate.
Is there a website that you have access to that has the rates or did you call audi financial services yourself?
Is there a way the public can get the rate so we know for sure it is the true buy rate as oppose to believing whatever the dealer shows us to be the buy rate.
thanks again
Usually, most people with good credit should be able to get the buy rate, so I would shoot for that. Money factors are not set in stone as you know, so I would try to avoid having them bump it up. Specially if you have great credit.
As for finding rates, the truth is anyone who knows how to search on Google can find the rates posted on websites, forums, etc… Just takes work gathering all the info since it’s scattered throughout the web. Sometimes, I get my info from dealers (not so much recently since the people I have dealt with in the past have either moved on to other dealerships or been laid off)
