My Take: If you are shopping for a 7-passenger SUV and you are considering the CX-9, be aware that the 08 model will actually cost you more than the 09 model eventhough the sell price is lower. That’s thanks to a 5% lower residual value on the 08 vs the 09, so keep that in mind when you email your dealer. Also, be aware of the $1000 loyalty cash available to you if you are a previous Mazda owner. If you are looking to buy, there is 0% financing for up to 60 months on the 08 CX-9 and 1.9% APR on the 09 model for up to 60 months (0% for up to 36 months).
