Over the last month, I had been weighing the pro’s and con’s of setting up a discussion forum for readers to ask questions and share information. I came to the conclusion that despite the lukewarm reception during the poll, it would be a worthwhile addition to the site. I’m not trying to take away from forums such as CarSpace, which by the way, is a highly active and great resource for those looking to lease. The RIDE Auto Forum is meant more for folks who love cars, want to lease, but don’t want to be taken to the cleaners in the process. It is a less-diluted and more personal community to talk cars and ask questions. Allowing members to start their own discussions instead of cramming them all under one thread. I would like to encourage new readers to post their questions on the forum, in case I am out of town, or on a family emergency (such as last week). This will allow other knowledgeable members to assist if I am ever away. Of course, I will still be reading my emails in case any of you feel the need to contact me directly.

Currently, the blog and the forum user accounts are not merged. This may or may not change depending on whether I have time to troubleshoot the database. My time is limited considering all the lease numbers I have to crunch, emails to respond and my day job, so we’ll see.
Hope many of you join the forums, I promise I will be a very active participant in answering questions and such.
Happy Posting!
