My Take: Sadly, last month’s Volvo numbers remain for the month of November. Not even Costco Auto’s promotion can save it from being a great deal, unless you decide to buy. Buying isn’t a bad thing, but I also know that you didn’t scour the internet to end up in a leasing website and have it’s owner tell you to buy. I’m just telling it like it is though. When lease rates stink and you won’t settle for anything else, you have to see what kind of deal you can get on a purchase instead. Not all is lost though, the S80 isn’t too bad of a deal and could qualify for a “Lease-to-Buy” if the sale price is right. Then you can add on the $500 Costco card for extra savings.

My Take: GTI rates actually look worse than last month. 1% drop in residual, a hike in money factor and no lease cash usually means slightly higher monthly payments. The CC on the other hand, looks promising. Too bad I’m not in the market for a 4-seater sedan, otherwise I would really consider getting one of those. The Golf numbers looks great and the Tiguan is not too bad either. I’m not sure I like the Jetta’s numbers though, but at the right sale price, it could work.
Update: Here are the remaining lease rates from MBs which look relatively unchanged from last month. ML and CLS should still remain very strong leases, with the ML being recommended over the GLK since the payments aren’t too far apart.
My Take: Looks like the 2011 are still a bit high on the MF, but the 2010 look like pretty solid leases still if you can find one. Better yet, I would recommend buying since they have 0% APR loans for 2010s. There’s also cash on select models in case you decide to pay cash or finance through a different lender.
My Take: As expected, residuals have begun to decline in most cars this month, some more drastic (BMW), while others are a bit more subtle. Audi has dropped their residuals around 1%, which is more on the subtle side. That’s good news since their leases should remain about the same as last month. Here’s a scenario for you guys based on one of the cars on my 
My Take: Numbers have changed on the Sonata this month. Hyundai has an awesome sales month in October so I am guessing they will be push hard to make November just as good. I’ll keep my eyes out on the Turbo and other numbers, so check back later.
UPDATE: The first set of lease rates to kick-off the Holiday Season and BMWFS lays a REAL stinker. Residuals drop. Money Factors either drop slightly, stay the same or go up a little. Sure, there is “holiday cash” available now, but “fixed dollar” rebates rarely offset hefty drops in residual value. This means that the higher the price tag, the more insignificant that lease rebate becomes. If you don’t believe me, feel free to crunch the numbers yourself and compare it to last month’s lease rates. One has to wonder if last month’s “higher-than-usual” sales volume had anything to do with this. Anyway, it’s incredible how much residuals dropped this month. We’re talking 3-5% of many of the popular models! Crazy! Lets hope that at least sale prices drop a bit more this month compared to last.
My Take: Residual are high on the Forester so Subaru doesn’t feel the need to provide any relief on the interest. Depending on your sale price, these cars can be very attractive leases right now. Just keep in mind that at the end of your lease, you probably don’t want to buy this car since it’s the payoff would be too high.
