2013 Audi Lease Rates – January 2013

UPDATE: Audi has revised their lease program. Please see below. As far as I can tell. Some residuals have dropped along with the MF. Others only got a MF reduction. Nothing too drastic, but worth noting.

Slight drops in MF and residual but most a good numbers of models stayed the same. Not seeing any cash incentives showing on Edmunds, but I think the financing rates looks quite strong.
One thing still baffles me though…Audis seem to sell well, but surprisingly, even Acura managed to outsell Audi last year. Go figure.

Excepted RES & MF drops this month. There is loyalty cash available and 1.9%-2.9% financing. Audi does go the extra mile for their existing owners, so if you have an Audi now, you will qualify for some decent chunk of change. Remember, the luxury sales crown is still up for grabs this year and BMW, MB and Audi are probably going to try hard to earn your business. Negotiate accordingly.

Audi has dropped the residual and money factor this month (an expected move). I anticipate things to remain the same in October, then another drop in Nov/Dec, just in time for the holidays. Audi is offering loyalty cash bonuses that are applicable to leases, so don’t sleep on those. Overall, not a huge difference from last month (in terms of payments). The optimist in me, expects better numbers in Nov/Dec.

AFS made an interesting adjustment on the 2012 Q5 this month. They kept the MF the same and bumped the residual 2% higher! That means cheaper payments in my book. Funny stuff. Other than that, it seems the 2013s remained the same. Expect numbers to be about the same as last month. Incentives are the same and the special 2% financing for up to 60 months on the A4 is still the same.

Summer of Audi is looking better with some drops in money factor. Residual changed on some models, but for more mainstream ones like the A4, the residual remains the same. Looking over TrueCar sales data from last month, it looks like invoice + incentives ($1000 loyalty) is attainable. If you aren’t an existing Audi customer, hovering around invoice or slightly below that should be your max sale price.
