2013 Nissan Lease Rates – March 2013

Nissan updated their lease rates yet again and they look good. Residuals seem to have been increased which makes for a better lease. Not seeing much in terms of lease cash, but there are some retail cash allowances for most models. The rates are quite aggressive, so make sure you put on your negotiator hat and strike a great sale price.

Most numbers stayed the same. There have been some MF reductions on models such as the Sonata SE Turbo which is always a welcomed sight. Hyundai is also providing Loyalty, Conquest, Military, College Grad and retail cash for their customers. Fairly aggressive offering if you ask me.

2013 Lexus Lease Rates – March 2013

Lexus number have improved this month. Residuals remain steady and the MFs have dropped. This is a fairly predictable move by LFS. Historically, February is one of the worst months out of the year for leasing. There have been some exceptions, but not for Lexus. Anyway, things look better this month so if you held out for a better deal, now isn’t a bad time.

Oddly enough, MB decided to raise the residual and drop the money factors this month, effectively making February worse than January and March. That’s a slightly odd strategic approach, but who I am to question their thought process. Anyway, I’m really eager to see what the numbers on the CLA will look like once it comes out. If they don’t look too bad, I just might switch out my Sonata by year-end. I have been increasingly disappointed with my Hyundai over the last couple of months. Last Friday, after I parked my car, the dashboard kept flashing and beeping saying that I did not have my keys with me (they were in my pocket). I had to restart the car and shut it off again in order to turn off the headlights and lock my doors. The car has 20,000 miles and is less than two years old…go figure.

IFS updated their lease rates for March. Residuals have gone UP for several models. Unfortunately, the MFs have gone up as well. Nevertheless, I believe that the payments will not change too dramatically. Remember that the production of the G37 sedan it’s nearing it’s end and will be replaced by the Q50. If you don’t like how the Q50 looks, you probably have about 5 months to snag a G37.

Nissan went through and made some changes to their lease rates again this. I am seeing some reductions in MF for a good number of models, while others get a bump in Residual. Not too bad if you ask me. In addition, there seems to be some customer and lease cash for cars like the 2013 Altima S. This is probably one of the better February months I’ve seen in quite some time.
