2011 Audi Lease Rates – February 2011

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Audi hasn’t changed their lease rates either, so if you were using last months numbers to calculate your payments, your estimates should still be the same.
Like I said last month, I’m still liking the A3. The money factor is just so low, it’s almost an interest-free loan. The sale prices have come down in my area (9% off MSRP), so even though the lease rates remain the same, the deal has improved compared to January. LeaseCompare is still providing a lost of fleet discounts, so if you can’t find a good deal on an Audi, you might want to give them a shot.

2011 BMW Lease Rates – February 2011

For the most part, BMW’s February lease rates remain unchanged. The biggest change only applies to lease terms longer than 48-months. Those terms get a healthy .00030 money factor reduction, but I still don’t recommend leasing a BMW longer than 3 years. Other than, lease rates are the same. I’ve been noticing a slight up-tick on the sale prices recently, but the month is still young, so I would recommend holding out until month-end to see if discounts become more aggressive. Expect lease rates to change next month.

2011 Nissan Lease Rates – February 2011

Wow! check out how crummy the Leaf’s residual value is! That’s a shocker. The MF isn’t exactly what I call desirable either. However, if you live in a state where you get some big fat rebates (like we do in CA), you could get a pretty sweet deal on this car…if you can find one.

Overall, there are some good deals to be had here. The Sentra, as usual, is a great lease. The Rogue shows potential due to the high residual. The Altimate sedan is also a solid choice for those who need the extra room.

Nissan has done a great job positioning themselves as a lease-friendly brand by introduction great lease rates in the past couple years. Let’s hope they keep things up in the coming year.

2011 Acura Lease Rates – February 2011

My apologies for lagging behind on the posts recently. I came down with a bad cold this past weekend so I’m still in recovery mode. I’ll try to get lease rates up ASAP since this is a short month. By the way, I would like to remind you that what you see posted is what I got, so if you are looking for other trims that aren’t listed, you probably should consult with your dealer.

Acura rates are pretty much the same as last month. If you are seeing different numbers posted, you probably are in the region where Acura uses a different money factor. I don’t know the exact breakdown of the regions, but I hear folks near the Great Lakes have a higher money factor than those living in the West/East Coasts. Please note that the money factor is based on your billing address, so buying a car out of state will not help you get a lower money factor.

In any case, I am still liking the TL this month, slightly more due to a higher sale price, but still a decent deal. There may be some lease support on remaining 2010 models, so be sure to inquire about those. Please note that once 2011s roll out, I don’t generally find 2010 numbers, so the only source to find that would be your local dealer.

Not too much to say here. Lease rates for Hondas remain unchanged from January. So Cal sale prices have gone up a bit, but nothing too significant that would make it a bad deal. The Civic, Accord, CR-V and CrossTour remain strong leases this month. The Odyssey isn’t half bad, but I think the MF is a tad high in my opinion. Expect rates to change next month.

Different month, same old lease rates. That is what the numbers look like this month for Lexus. Not the strongest leasing month, but I think the IS250 is a borderline good deal here due to a slightly lower sale price than anticipated. This allows the IS to squeak into the GOOD DEAL territory, which generally consists of rides with a RWG rating of 90 to 99.

2011 Volkswagen Lease Rates – February 2011

It doesn’t look like VW rates have changed much since January. Here are is partial list of rates I got for this month. If you are looking for other models, you may be able to use last month’s numbers for reference. VW rates in general, aren’t the best, so you will need to shop around for a good sale price in order to compensate for the relatively “average” lease rates. Take the CC for example (shown below), the residual is a bit low, but they have a nice MF plus an excellent selling price around my area. This results in a pretty decent deal for a pretty sweet ride.

Another thing worth noting is that if you plan to BUY your lease at the end, you want to get into a model with a low residual and a low money factor. This will ensure that you have a relatively low pay-off amount at the lease-end (see Toureg VR6 numbers).

2011 Audi Lease Rates – January 2011

I’m still digging the A3 this month, although the payments will probably run a bit higher now since the residual value has dropped by 1% and the MF has gone from 0.00016 to 0.00018. Another issue is that Audis do not enjoy very big discounts compared to MB, Infiniti or Acura. As a result, the payments here will probably run a bit higher than comparable models. Granted, there aren’t many cars out there that compare to Audi’s A3, there will be a lot more that will give the A4, A5 and even the Q5, a run for their money. Overall, I starting to feel like Audi’s lease programs stink. Let us hope they throw some cash out there in the coming months.
