The numbers are in! I know I got a bunch of comments to answer. I haven’t had much time since work has been hectic and I have been trying to recover from a cold.
In any case, here are the numbers! In my opinion, the numbers look kind of mediocre. Take the CC for example, I like the MF drop but the sale price in my area got jacked up by about $1000 according to TrueCar. That pretty much blows up the deal for me. Unless a few thousands can be shaved on the sale price, last month’s 39-month was better (see calculations below). 2011 models suffered some residual value drops, but some of these models also got a big MF reduction. This should help keep payment low. There are a few exceptions, the Tiguan, Routan and Touareg MFs jumped a bit.
More lease rates for other brands to come! If you are waiting for a comment, please hang in there. I will reply to you as soon as all the numbers I have get posted.
Thanks!

I am not sure if these payments are taking into account the VCI lease bonus cash that is available on many models. For example, on the ’12 CC there is $1250 lease cash nationally and that can be combined with regional lease cash that is as high as $750 in some areas.
Email me if you want to see the documentation on this.
@shappy. Thanks for the information.
@all. It looks like areas that can get both rebates can get their lease payments down the same level (if not lower) as the 39-month lease from last month. My calculations did not take advantage of the $1250 rebate, so I will update that. However, even with the rebate, the lease payments are still higher due to a likely higher selling price this month. Now for folks that can get both, you’d be looking at a $333 monthly payment with a 90.7 RWG rating, which is pretty much at the same level as last month’s lease.
shappy –
I would like the regional lease cash for the Notheast, I am in Rochester, NY and about to work on a CC lease, do you also have the 12K residuals and money factors. I think the dealer already told me the residual is 50% but it looks like your websites says it 53% on a 15K 36 month lease.
Thanks. Mark
@mark. Residuals are 2% higher for 12k miles per year. It is noted under the “REMINDERS” section on each page. In your case, it should be 55%. If you are getting a lower residual, it could be because you are being quoted on a 2011 model instead of 2012 or you may be looking at a different trim level of the CC.
PS – The website is mine, not shappy’s ๐
Thanks … also how much lower is the residual for the MANUAL transmission for both 12K and 15K. I also see that you posted an addtional $750 rebate, is that regional? I am in upstate NY. Also, VW does have loyalty rebates from time to time, are there any at the present time?
Thanks again!
@mark. I don’t think manual transmission’s residual value are different than the auto (i’m not 100% sure however). It does vary based on trim though. If you get a R-line, luxury or any other trim, your residual would be lower. Upstate NY seems to have $1,250 lease cash on a 2012 CC Sport at the moment (based on Rochester NY ZIP code). You should hop on Edmunds.com to double check what incentives apply to you. No loyalty cash from what I’m seeing.
I have edited your full name.
Also can u change my first post to MARK, not sure why I put my full name, i like my privacy, lol
WHEW! Makes me feel good about pulling the trigger a week ago on my GTI. It’s nice to win one occasionally!
Where are Touareg TDI sport rates for 15K@3Y
thanks G! – picked up a cc sport dsg last weekend on whim – based the calc – scored a 98.32 ๐ no 750 additional cashback here in the south though.
@rich! Congrats on the new ride. 98.32 rating is pretty darn good for picking up a car “on a whim”. The CC has been a pretty decent lease since it’s introduction, glad you took advantage of it.
