My Take: I’m sure a lof you have been waiting for to see the A5 lease rates drop, so here they are! Compared to January, the money factors dropped from .00318 to .00240 (7.63% to 5.76%) That IS significant isn’t it? Is it a fantastic deal? No not really. Is it better than last month? Certainly! The residual values are identical, so you save nearly 2% in interest. I can’t really put it on a DO NOT LEASE List since the numbers have improved significantly from last month, but I wouldn’t exactly run out and lease one of these things either. Now, I’m sure you are starting to see the pattern on high performance models. The S5 has sky-high money factors, making it a bad lease. This is same as BMW’s M-Series and MB’s AMGs. You might want to skip the leasing on those and just buy it.

According to audi’s bank (audi financial services)….the residuals are 57% for an S5 at 36 months….
so 50% is definitely wrong on this message board. That is way off and puzzled me because it has been at 57%-60% every month for the past 15 months.
Yeah that one might be a bit odd since the 6-speed manual is around 56%. I can’t imagine how the tiptronic could drop the residual 6%. In any case, how many miles is the 57% residual for? 15k as well?
yeah 12K. Its nto 50%…its 57-58% for both automatic and manual.
