My Take: As expected, the C-Class lease rates remain the same as November’s numbers. Still a good lease, remember that invoice is fairly easy to get in markets with a fair amount of competition. I would definitely advice shooting way below that and see if you can pull it off ($1000-2000 below invoice). I have listed the C300 Sport on the List for this month to give you an idea as to how much your payments would be.

How do you get the $2000 off invoice? I haven’t found any incentives or rebates on the C Class. Please assist. Thanks.
@stock. Well i didn’t “get” $200 off invoice. I simply recommend that you start your negotiations at $2000 below invoice without exceeding $1000 under invoice to see if any dealer will bite. I think they will. The holdback on these C300s are like $1100 bucks, plus who knows what other volume incentives they get if they can meet their sales goals. Worth a try, specially in the last 2 weeks of the month.
Thanks G! Obviously a MB dealer won’t sell for a loss (at least around here). So it’s the volume discounts that will move the car, right? So if we have to order the car, there will probably be no volume discounts or holdback discounts. They may even markup up the car $500-1000 over invoice, right?
@stock. if you plan to order the car, chances are, you will probably just get about 7-8% off sticker, depending on the model. I believe they have a predetermined % you can get. Personally, I don’t think it hurts to ask for invoice regardless, but you will get better discounts on cars that are already on the lot. And yes, no holdback and volume discounts on orders.
Just got a 2010 C300 sport with a sticker of $43,995 for my fiancee. Selling price of 40654 before bank fee. $1244 drive offs $548 plus tax. 12k/36 months. This car was impossible to find with all the goodies she wanted, so they wouldn’t “give it away”. Thoughts?
@cowner. I think its “bologna” that they would charge a premium just for finding something you want. Personally, I would just negotiate an “under-invoice” price. Right now, I would not lease a C300 for that’s over invoice. Ideally, I’d tap into part of the 3% holdback if I were you.
