My Take: I bet you were waiting for the 2010 E-Class lease rates to come down, huh? Nope, not this month, I get the feeling Nov/Dec might be when the rates get revised, so site tight and wait this one out.

G – My dealer(s) tell me that the October 36 mos, 15K rate on the 350 Couple is .00318.
@barry. Thanks for the feedback barry. Even with the .00318, the MF is still ridiculously high. 7.632% APR is too much for a car with this price tag.
G,
Quick question. A local dealer is offering the following:
2010 E series, blue capri color, P1 package, no money down,
all rolled in, $750 per month for 39 month lease with MB.
What do you think? Are prices slowly starting to roll down?
@johnG. its quite difficult to know how good a deal is without knowing all the numbers. The deal may look pretty good, but what if you where to pay your fees upfront and get payments in the low $600s? The interest rates (MF) on the E-Class is higher than average, so rolling all fees into the lease is a bad idea. Be sure to get the MSRP, sale price, MF and residual from the dealer so you can do a quick calculation to confirm their figures. Another thing is that the dealer rarely quotes numbers without taxes, so in this case, the payments could be around $800 when its all said and done. The prices ARE coming down, so are the money factors (somewhat), but overall, still an expensive ride to lease since the interest rates are high.
If anyone needs this – I found out from the dealer that Mercedes uses a residual of 58% for both the 36 and 39 month leases for 12,000 miles.
G,
Would you happend to have the rates for November?
patience young grasshopper 🙂
